Honestly -- I feel that we didn't do anything wrong. Yotoc changed the forum name, which was funny and no more harmful than any of the shit any of us say to each other in the forums. If he's going to sit on here and play the defeatist card about our lives and hassle Jody, he should expect to get some back.
I'm surprised at the reaction. One minute he's involved and doing his thing, and the next it's meltdown. No private conversations went on, no personal arguments. I was printing his stories, we were giving him space on the front page and he had free run in the forums to a point past what he should have had.
Now, am I mistaken...didn't he say he was part jewish or something? Maybe that was something.
You see these forum blowouts on places like SA all the time. People just suddenly decide they want off in the strangest way possible. The thing is, it's fucking weird to see it on a forum with only a handful of people.
e: also, the more he played that defeatist card and acted weird, the more folks ganged up on him in a sort of passive-aggressive way. That may have soured him.
We all saw this coming. Or we should have. There was a division there. And PublishAmerica is a real publisher, by the way. He didn't pay them anything to publish has second and third book.
