Lamont wins by 4 or 5% and Lieberman registers to run as an independent.

And the Dems all come out behind Lamont.  Lieberman doesn't have the backing of his voters or his party.

Color me thrilled.

And, also, that secondary and spiritual "anti-Iraq" decision is made.

Well, that was only the primary, so expect round 2 when the real election comes around.

Or is their state heavily Democratic?
