I didn't want to believe you but, yes, it appears that Blade: The Series has a budget of $22 an episode and is, still, better than the movies.  With Sticky Fingaz, ahem, playing Blade, that's fine.  He was in Leprechaun: Back 2 tha Hood (recently cited by Cracked magazine in RC's thread over at Movies & Everything Else) as some generic black guy with a speaking role and did okay. He does an okay Blade, too.

So, yeah, I like the pilot.  Glad to have another fucking weekly show to watch this season.  What am I up to?  The Stargate Twins, Jericho, Blade...ah, too many.

Of course -- calling Matty boy back to this thread -- roll on October, yes?

Dude. I'm so fucking there. I watched the BSG trailer for season 3, you know, the one with the godawful Nickelback song yet again. You know how bad it is? I heard the Nickelback song on the radio at work and just hearing the song sent shivers down my spine because I associated it with Battlestar.
