Hell yeah... and if it having a killer time on vacation meant you had to have some discomfort for a couple hours on an airplane, then so be it.

I always put it in my socks though.

British Columbia rules!

I may never come home. There's bike lanes everywhere. People are laid back and really nice to each other. The weather is to die for. (high fifties at night, seventies during the day.)

Vancouver is supposed to have rather warm winters.  There's the Pacific equivalent of the Gulf Stream.  So, like the UK, you have a northern location where you can grow palm trees and have to watch out for the sun.
