From Hell

(1/4) > >>

Tatertots:
After seeing V for Vendetta, I'm getting back in to my graphic novel/comic book funk. So I want to buy Alan Moore's From Hell - another great graphic novel, right?

It's listed for $100, used, on Amazon. What the fuck!

I could have sworn I had seen it in the local Borders for $30 or $40.

Amazon, bn.com, Powells, etc etc don't have it or list used copies of some old print for $9,000. What's that all about?

Matt:
Amazon is not the best place to order comic books. Usually you'll have to go to a distributor to pick up a certain book - I wanted Frank Miller's The 300, I had to go to a comic book store that had the most recent version because Amazon listed it as out of print. I also ordered the complete Rising Stars collection (HC) and it has taken Amazon 4-6 weeks to ship it to me.

Matt:
I forgot to tell you: one of the best places to find comic books is THE INTERNET. I have From Hell already downloaded.

RottingCorpse:
I think this would be a goodplace to mention that Nacho has had my copy of From Hell for FIVE FUCKING YEARS!!!!!!!!

But, yeah, get it into you. Much deeper than the film version.

Yeah, I need to get that back to you.

You know, I hate people who borrow shit and never return it.

Also, Matt's right.  Download it.
