In an effort to further acclimate myself to my new surroundings, I’ve read The Shithole. Aptly titled, I must say. The dirty backside of GS… and so forth. Truthfully, it was mildly objectionable in places, but a good read nonetheless. And I feel, at the very least, a little less like the guy who walked into the middle of this movie. Oh, the drama… the trauma… the smegma! The human tragedy! I’d hug you all, but… this place… this place is CURSED!!!

It's been cursed for years.  Oddly enough, RC and I have managed from the beginning without a single freakout.

Now you've got me reading all that shit again.  I like how the shithole goes from the mundane to the hopelessly bizarre.
