I especially love EVERYONE lapsing into a blind panic and closing. Schools, government... And not a flake in sight.

So now the news has shifted to, "We're still waiting for those flakes!!!"

Meanwhile, fleets of trucks are storming back and forth turning the roads into white beaches.

I called out today because...everyone else called out! So nobody is in today except VP, two of the switchboard fucks, and the retarded guy. My options:

(1) Go in and deal with a four day backlog of emails and voicemails while staying on the phones for a solid six hours talking to aggressive psychopaths or

(2) Stay here in my bathrobe and play video games and write.

Yeah, so trip to work was interesting. All side roads are basically packed snow...like they plowed to about 2 inches and stopped. The main-ish road that I'm on for about 3 seconds was down to pavement.

I'll have to see how things have changed when I go out at lunch time.

Also, 5 degrees Fahrenheit (-15C) when I left this morning. Now with bone burning windchill!
