Got up this morning to 14 inches and wheeled out the snowblower....which proceeded to not start.  Spent most of the morning fiddling with it and shoveling.  I decided to take a break, a big mistake.  Around 2 I went back to the snowblower and finally got it running and by that time the snow was too heavy.  So back to the shovel.  I've cleaned off about 2/3 of the top of the driveway.  I'm waiting for my neighbor with the tractor and plow to swing by, but this might be too much for it.  I should have broken down and bought the really good snowblower instead of borrowing the one from my dad that "was just fixed".

Thank god for the slaves! Now we only have 2 inches (and counting) of snow on top of a sheet of ice.

The TM and I have reached a mutual decision to call out tomorrow regardless of what the feds do.

Total here is 14 inches (and counting...).

Yeah, it's started here again as well.

I didn't shovel. I've been writing this crazy script outline all day.

I thought disregarding Reggie's shoveling advice would come back to bite me in the ass, but it ended up working out really well.

It was heavy as you said, Reggie, but that also made it much easier to move around, especially after having about six hours worth of melt packing it down. The hardest part was cleaning off the cars. Missus RC's crossover is a boat.

Rumors of another storm tomorrow.

Oh, glad it worked out. The additional 4 inches we got last night is at home taunting me. I'm hoping it will melt away today.

And yes...looking like another 4" for us very early Sat. morning.

They were literally counting snowflakes on the news this morning. They cut to the STorm Team guy outside, and, seriously, he counts three snowflakes. But it's done with this weird edge of hysteria...

It was snow showering on my way in this morning. But I work in a windowless facility so I won't know anything else until lunch. Hey, it's lunchtime!

It snowed pretty hard in my neck of the woods. Didn't stick to pavement though.

We got about 3/4 an inch of panic here, but only on the grass.

Two inches here! But the roads are fine and not even the schools are delayed. Which sucks. Yesterday they're counting snowflakes like it's the Mayan apocalypse but today, with steady snow and a blanket of it on the ground, they're talking about politics.

It's snow weariness. If this same 2 inches happened in November, all schools closed.

We've heard everything from less than an inch to fifteen inches. Who knows?

Everyone says 6-10 here... Haven't heard that change for two days.

This will be the first snow for the NOLA girls, 16 and 20... They have never been sledding before. So we staked out a hill and this will be the best half an inch of panic ever...
