Oh-ho. No panic in DC. The only panic is in the far-flung counties who actually do get hit with this weird shit. But down here, tra-la-la, work as usual. People moving at top speed on the streets.
OH AND LET'S TALK ABOUT 4:30 AM ONWARDS ON THE ROAD OUTSIDE MY WINDOWK<L:!LL!IK(P#((!!
*scrape scrape scrape scrape scrape scrape scrape scrape scrape*
Sometime around 5:15 I felt like leaning out and shooting out windshields. It's clear now, asshole!
The joke is that ALL of the people scraping off their windows didn't go anywhere. They came out at 4:30, fucking removed every drop of moisture from their cars with what sounded like metal spatulas, and then went back inside. They didn't start leaving till around 7am or so. Still a couple cars down there.
And, seriously -- defrost, right? It'll take the same amount of time as the half hour spent trying to scrape the ice off. Let it melt a little bit, then scrape. Most of those fuckers spent from 4:30 to 5am scraping their windows without turning the car on.
And here I thought I was an idiot when it came to cars.
