Half an inch of panic

We got 1.5 inches. And ice and rain and sleet and yuck that has frozen into brown death. So, yeah. A bust. As I predicted!

Would you like to come up and shovel the 6 inches of "bust" off my driveway?

We're all so addled by the events of 2017 that Saturday's first snow of the season is being reported with a sort of breathless shrug, and the usual people who stock up like it's the apocalypse don't seem to care.

We've been preparing for the apocalypse for a year now. At this point, we hope a super-snowstorm kills us all.

About an inch so far! No reaction from anyone. Busy roads, nobody doing insane things like spraying sand and salt everywhere like they usually do even if the snow is predicted but not yet falling.

Weird. Is DC really post-half-an-inch-of-panic?
