25.6 inches is the official snow total for our swath of NoVA.

We hit 27, with drifts getting trapped in the backyard and quad area that went over 30.

Bethesda is very well dug out now. The only problem is supply. So everywhere's open, but limited menus. It's a "booze and oysters only" sort of day!

Some drifts are near or above the 30 inch mark, no question. That number is what the local paper gave out.

Yesterday, I found it remarkably easy shoveling. There's just a ton of it, but slow and steady, it moves well. I'm hoping the refreeze doesn't make it harder today. I still have the sidewalk to do.

I hope the refreeze knocks us on our ass and we get tomorrow off!
