Ellison...

Sad, but.... He's been "old and crazy" for a very long time. And I'm still in Bourdain shock.

Yeah, my wife was openly weeping about it this AM.

Wow...Bourdain. Which upsets me. He's been inspirational to me for a long time.

Margot Kidder.

RC texted me last night and said he thought she was already dead -- now the running joke for everyone in this thread!

I'm reminded, though, that I constantly confused Kidder with Karen Allen.

I thought we dead already.

We lost Roger Moore as well today. I thought he was also already dead.

Yeah, all these 570 year old lizards are dying. There must be a power struggle going on at the Illuminati compound.

Jhoon Rhee. Who was old when I met him in the 80s!

92's a good run. I had heard the news the other day about her failing health and how she was basically stopping all treatment.

And Barbara Bush. Though she seemed really old in 1990.

R. Lee Ermry was a genre convention staple.

Milos Forman as well this weekend, Czech-born director who did Amadeus, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, The People vs. Larry Flynt, and a bunch of other really great movies. I saw a lot of his early Czech-language work when I was in Prague. He's a cultural hero over there.

R. Lee Ermey, of Full Metal Jacket Fame. Man...he's been riding his character in that movie for decades! I actually thought he was already dead.

Also, Art Bell: So now there's a job opening for RC to spout out wild conspiracy theories on the radio and make zillions from survivalist sponsors.

Is it that bad?

Also, 76 with ALS is fucking amazing. He should have been dead decades ago.
